Mr. Lam is the Chairman of Shanghai Amara and Board of Director of Shanghai Amara's major shareholder, Amara Holdings Inc. of Dubai.

Mr. Lam is also Chairman and CEO of Baron Assets Group, an investment group focusing on a range of sectors in China which is headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Over the past decade, he has led the Group into various joint ventures partnering with leading Chinese Fortune 500 companies involved in various investment projects.

Mr. Lam has over 20 years experience of investing in Chinese companies and has executed over USD2 billion worth of residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial real estate projects in China and internationally. He is a Board of Director of various State Owned Enterprise and privately owned conglomerates in China.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He is a Registered Architect in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom and is also an Authorized Person within the Register of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
